GUILT BY ASSOCIATION LANDS MAN IN JAIL SANS TRIAL By José Orlando González Bridón, Cuba Free Press.

HAVANA - Jorge Luis Perez Leon, 37, known as "El Chori" has been in the prison at 100th St. and Aldabó since being found more than two months ago in a house he was visiting that also contained five "rocks" of cocaine.

According to his story, everyone else in the house also was arrested. On Nov. 2, he was interrogated by Maj. Angel Perez, officer involved with drug crimes. Perez Leon said Maj. Perez hit him for refusing to accept the charges made against him.

On Nov. 6, Maj. Perez again presented him with the charges and hit him when he refused to confess. Perez Leon also said he complained about the treatment with the political affairs officer of the Technical Department of Investigations but was ignored. Now he fears that the Major's treatment may be intended to provoke him to a violent reaction.
