GOVERNMENT TRANSFERS DISSIDENTS TO DIFFERENT PRISONS. By Odilia Collazo of the Pro Human Rights Party of Cuba for Cuba Free Press.

Havana.- On Feb. 2, the government separated many of the dissidents from the quarters of the Technical Section for Investigations and sent them to different prisons. These activists had been detained for weeks.

Carlos Oquendo Rodriguez and Jose Aguiar Hernandez were transferred to the Valle Grande prison. Both belong to the July 13th Movement.

Diosdado Gonzalez Marrero of the Movement for Peace, Love and Freedom was moved to Guanajuay prison.

Marcel Valenzuela and Fermin Scull Zulueta were transferred to the 1580 prison. Marcel belongs to the Civic Brotherhood Movement and Fermin Scull is an independent human rights activist.

They presumably will be kept in these prisons until their trial, date of which has not been indicated.
