ABOUT THE DOGS THAT DON'T BARK - BARKLESS By Tania Quintero, Cuba Free Press.

HAVANA - A foreigner who read the headlines about "Dogs being imported" in the periodical known as "Havana Tribune" on April 4 could have thought that the article was about fancy dogs with four legs which would be brought to Cuba. But no, these dogs are special sausages or hot dogs that next month may be distributed in the municipalities of San Miguel del Padrón, Cotorro and Central Habana.

Each person will be allowed a package of five hot dogs. The price has not been indicated but rumors are that the cost will be five pesos per packet. These edible dogs will be imported from Canada.
